In 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 the Apostle Paul says, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing but in everything give thanks..."  Thank you for selecting me as one of your recipients of the CCSA/San Antonio Rodeo Scholarships. I am sincerely honored and  grateful.

As I set out on the path that God has for me I must tell you that your generosity has been a blessing to me and I am overflowing with gratitude.   I realize that I am a reflection of more than just my family.   I am a reflection of CCSA and New Covenant Baptist Church and my pastor, Dr. Paul D. Stevens, Sr. therefore I will continue to walk in faith and trust in God to guide me all the way. In the words of my late grandmother, Deborah Williams, I will “Be the best one”.
